No refunds will be given on any hair services or consultations at KIMestry. We aim to please our clients. If a client is not satisfied with their service, then the stylist will do the same style or one of equal value at no charge.
You must contact the stylist within 48 hours of receiving your service with a valid explanation of why you are unsatisfied with your hair style. If the stylist has previously booked clients on the day that you want to come back, you will have to work with the stylist's schedule.
Each situation will be up to the stylist's discretion once the client has had the initial conversation regarding why the client is to receive another style.
There will be NO REFUNDS given on consultations under any circumstances.
CEU classes are non refundable, monies can not be transferred to another date
To our Valued Guests
Your appointments are very important to all of the stylist on our team at KIMestry. This is an invitation only salon, which means we work by appointments only. We service one client at a time, which means the time allocated for an appointment is reserved especially for you. We do understand that emergencies happen, and sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. All our policies are designed to benefit our guests and provide them with the best quality.
Notification given less than 24 hours prior to appointment time will result in a flat rate charge of $25 this fee must be paid prior to you receiving your next service. You can pay by credit, or debit card using the cancelation fee tab on this site. You will be able to select the stylist that the cancellation fee is for. If you are a valued customer of KIMestry and need to cancel within a 24 hour period, your cancellation fee may be waived at the discretion of your Service Provider.
Late Policy: If arrival is delayed you must call, or text your service provider to inform them of your arrival time, and they will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment but this is not always possible. Appointments missed by 15 minutes or more will be charged a $20 non-refundable fee, this fee must be paid before the service provider renders service. Last minute changes to appointments will be honored only if a service appointment is available at a later time on the day (of your appointment) and other guests are not inconvenienced.
Special Conditions: Please notify our service providers before services are rendered if you have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, diabetes, any allergies, or pregnant.
Payments & Gratuity: The Salon accepts cash, and Credit Card payments, credit card payments will be used at the discretion of each service provider. All fees for services rendered are expected upon completion of services. We will be more than happy to discuss all charges and fees. Considering that all services are individually priced, please request a total price prior to receiving services. If you should conclude that you are unable to pay for all your services, we will gladly reschedule your appointment. Please Note - Credit for salon services is not an option, we expect payment in full. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS. When paying for a service online you can contact your service provider to discuss the price of your service. Once the price has been discussed you may pay for your service online. All credit card payments require a $3 fee. This fee also applies to credit card payments charged in the actual salon. All styles starting at $100 or more require a $50 non refundable deposit to reserve your appointment spot, and must be paid 3 days before your scheduled appointment time. If the appointment is missed you will only have 2 weeks to transfer the deposit to another appointment time.
Children Policy: We LOVE children... some of us even have a few! However, we ask that you make child care arrangements and not bring your children with you to your appointment unless they are receiving services. Many Guests look forward to their salon experience as personal "pampering" time. Even the best behaved children can get restless, and are subject to elements of danger in the salon environment (sharp scissors, hot irons, glass shelves, etc.). Please respect this policy, and accept our appreciation for your understanding. In return, when your child is receiving a service, we promise to see that no pesky grownups disrupt their experience!
Pets: The State Board of Cosmetology and The Board of Consumer Affairs have specific Rules and Regulations stating that no animals are allowed in a salon at any time. Service dogs with official "Service Animal" vests are the ONLY exception to this rule.
KIMestry Salon believes in giving privacy, intimacy, and serenity to all of their clients. We ask that you do not bring extra guest with you that will not be receiving services, this includes, children, siblings, boyfriends, and husbands. Extra guest are a liability to the salon and we want all of our guest to have a safe experience at KIMestry.
